Mary Rolyn Ara Torrecampo-Angeles is a Registered Licensed Architect and a member of the UAP Pasig Chapter since 2015. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and has also undertaken units in Interior Design at the same institution. She is pursuing her Master’s in Environmental Planning at Philippine Christian University. This role helped her develop leadership skills and a strong background in marketing and branding, which are crucial in a fast-paced industry. After four years with JFC Group, she was appointed Project Manager/In-House Architect at Chatime Philippines. Daguman, UAP, worked as a designer and field supervisor in Coordinated Group Inc. During his early career, this served as the backbone of his training through the guidance of their president, Engr. Roberto J. David, PRC Commissioner, Ar. Yolanda David Reyes, FUAP, APEC Architects, ASEAN Architects, Hon FAIA, LIKHA. His ability to handle design problems, construction processes as well as regular supervision was elevated through his experienced as a project-in-charge of a 6-storey residential project in Moriones, Tondo. In 1998, he became a Job-captain in the Design and Production of working drawings in DENR-NRDC for numerous public infrastructure from public markets to wildlife centers, under the supervision of Ar. Canchela and Ar. Evangelista. Notable projects he contributed significantly from schematic design to construction phase, as the principal architect and construction manager, are CCFA School Campus in Calbayog City, North Hill Hotel and Spa in Northern Samar, 9-storey UST Beato Angelico Project, Letran Balanga School in Bataan, Letran Intramuros School, and the 4 branches of Eves Residences in Rizal and Marikina. Ar. Daguman has been deeply involved in the creation of various projects, including residential structures, commercial buildings, high-rise buildings, health facilities, and public infrastructures. He successfully combined design and construction to bring these projects to life. Avoiding formal preconceptions, he seeks to find coherence between functional requirements of the client and technique of construction together with the intangible qualities, which animate a work of architecture that always consider factors such as dreams and inspiration of the clients. In 2009, Ar. Daguman started his own office in Manila, and since then, his professional journey has been defined by a deep love for service and to promote his experience in designing and also in construction. Jimenez, UAP, developed an interest in building houses at a young age, influenced by her parents’ careers as civil and sanitary engineers. Her passion for the arts led her to win art competitions throughout her elementary and high school years. During college, she gained practical experience working as an apprentice under her professors. After graduating in 2012, Ar. Jimenez began her professional career as an apprentice at WTA Design Studio, where she contributed to projects ranging from clinics to commercial buildings. In 2013, she joined Duotal as a BIM Architect, focusing on a large-scale commercial/resort project with two 15-storey towers. Her responsibilities included developing architectural, structural, and MEPF plans. Ar. Jimenez’s career continued to progress in 2014 when she joined Ridley as a BIM/Architect. She gained experience in a variety of projects, including residential structures, commercial buildings, high-rise buildings, health facilities, and transportation infrastructure. Architects Spread Holiday Cheer with “Adopt a Kid 2.0” in Pasig City The UAP Pasig Chapter brought smiles to the faces of children with disabilities in Pasig City with their “Adopt a Kid 2.0” gift-giving initiative held on December 29, 2024, at the ROTC Hunters Building in Barangay Rosario. Inspired by the theme “Sinag ng Bahaghari,” which promotes hope, nation-building, and inclusivity through architecture, the project aimed to uplift and support children with disabilities. Led by PAF NAM Co-Chair Ar. Mary Rolyn Ara Torrecampo-Angeles and UAP Pasig Chapter President Ar. Mark Niño Villaruz, the initiative saw UAP Pasig members raise funds to provide 145 gifts worth 500 pesos each to children from the AKKAPP PWD Federation and Bagong Alyansa ng mga may Kapansanan ng Lungsod ng Pasig Fed Inc. The spirit of giving extended beyond the UAP Pasig Chapter, with significant contributions from other UAP chapters and industry partners:* UAP Greenhills Chapter: Donated 200 food packages. * UAP Manila-Maharlika Chapter: Provided 100 food items. * UAP San Juan Pinaglabanan: Contributed 50 food items and five gifts worth 500 pesos each. * Davies Paints: Generously donated 50 loot bags and food for 100 companions.
